Seafood with a conscience

Caught in the UK’s First No-Trawl Marine Reserve, where ocean life thrives, our shellfish are responsibly caught within the Lyme Bay Reserve, home to the UK’s first Marine Protected Area (MPA) to ban destructive towed gear like dredging and trawling.

Since the ban, life has exploded beneath the waves: fragile rose coral has returned, scallop beds have thickened, and the reefs now teem with lobster and crab.

The catch

We will aim to deliver on the day of the catch.
However, due to supply and severe weather conditions, we may sometimes need to use sea storage (large storage pots) to guarantee freshness.
Lobster:

We sell lobsters of the freshest quality and highest welfare ranging between sizes of 500g to the larger restaurant quality of 800g-1kg as well as the specialty 1.5kg+ monsters.

Scallops:
Diving has been the foundation of our work, and a lifelong passion of founder John Shuker. Our scallops are hand-dived, sized and either sold the same day or stored in our own specialised sacks on the sea floor.

 
We work with the natural bloom cycle of scallops moving to deeper waters as the year moves on and sea temperatures fluctuates.
