"Hello there and welcome aboard! My name is Sam Shuker, and I'm the captain of the J.B.P. Together with my dad, John Shuker (former captain) and Ali Day, we make up the Lyme Bay Fishing Co, operating two small boats out of Lyme Regis.

We have over 30 years of experience specialising in live shellfish (crab, lobster, and scallop) using exclusively sustainable methods of cultivation from potting to hand diving. We are passionate about the freshness, quality, and welfare of our catch. We sell directly to restaurants and guarantee that there is only the sea between our catch and your plate".

From the waters of Lyme Bay to the hands of the UK’s finest chefs, we deliver top-quality, responsibly caught seafood that speaks for itself. Our boat lands each catch with care, allowing us to offer unmatched freshness, traceability, and exceptional flavour. This isn’t mass-market.
